About the Yoga Teacher Training Course(s)

Yoga is not a religion; it’s a science and an art of self-discipline. Yoga is not just another sport; it’s a life-changing activity; it’s a systematic way of living life. Practising, learning or teaching yoga in any style, from anywhere will invite peace, happiness, health and prosperity into your life.
All you need is a good heart, the willingness to work hard & try new things; the rest, we will teach you.
Honestly, no! Yoga requires years and years of practice; it’s a process of evolution and improving with every passing day. Our Yoga Teacher Training Course will plant that seed in your mind that will grow into a bountiful tree with time, as long as you provide it nourishment every day. How good and evolved a teacher you become, depends on the kind of commitment you show towards it even after you leave Fusion Yoga India. As you teach and help others, the knowledge that you will gain will ultimately be far more valuable than years of practising and studying.

Unless you have a serious illness or a medical emergency, you are expected to not miss any classes. If you do, you will be given assignments to help you make up for those classes; these assignments will be determined by the teacher(s).

Yes, we do provide a welcome kit equipped with a manual, 1 kriya set, 1 notepad and 1 pen. However, we suggest you carry additional notebooks and stationery for your personal use.

About Your Travel and Stay in India

You will need a tourist visa. Travelers from some countries can avail visa on arrival, which will be valid for one month. In other cases, you will need to apply to the Indian Embassy of your country. Make sure you apply at least one month ahead of your travel date, because for some countries the process could take that long. You will be granted a tourist visa for 3 or 6 months. Refer to this link for more details. You may also apply for an e-tourist visa. The processing time for this is usually 2 weeks and the visa is granted online. The duration of the visa is 2 months from the date of your arrival in India. This is a quick and easy process. Please beware of fake websites – the link above (with the extension .gov for government) is authentic.
We would advise you not to carry a lot of medicines. Everything is available in India and that too at a cheaper price. Just carry the medicines that you use regularly. We have a first-aid kit at the school, plus a doctor will always be close by!

We would advise you to carry your laptop for assignments and for summarising your day’s learnings. We offer 24-hour Wi-Fi free of cost. However, please note that the connection may not be as strong as what you are accustomed to.

We would advise you to carry clothes that you would be most comfortable in to allow you to practice yoga. Also, depending on the time of year you will be travelling, you may or may not require warm clothing. We would recommend that you check weather forecasts ahead of your travel dates.

Other than your personal items, including your clothes, toiletries, electronics and stationery, you can also carry a yoga mat if you prefer to use your own. However, you will be provided yoga mats at the school.
